Many of you work very hard every day without the certainty that you will be noticed by talent scouts from among the thousands of footballers who have the same dreams as you.
That's why one of the most common questions you ask is what to do to stand out and not waste your chance?
The answer is simple!
Work hard every day and be brave!
Before the start of the 2011/2012 season, the Argentine second-tier club Instituto AC was struggling with huge financial problems, so the club's authorities asked coach Dario Franco to look at the club's academy in order to find the young most talented players who could be promoted to the first team and after a good season the club would sell player for large sums of money that would cover the club's debts.
Coach Franco, after consulting the coaches of youth teams, received several offers of the most talented players and then went to watch the youth match and invite some of the most talented players.
His attention was caught by the 17-year-old forward named Paulo because he was quite technically good, but above all incredibly brave in his decisions, not afraid to make a mistake in front of the first team coach.
Coach Franco wondered if this courage would also be evident when Paulo played the first team.
17-year-old Paulo did not intend to waste his chance and he played bravely in the first team, he was not afraid to dribble experienced defenders, make difficult shots and show his full skills.
Coach Franco took a risk and from the first matches of the season he gave the 17-year-old a chance in the first squad.
Paulo played incredibly well and, above all, as boldly as in junior training!
In the first season, he scored 17 goals for the Instituto AC club, including 2 hattricks.
That teenager was Paulo Dybala!
Coach Franco said years later that had it not been for courage and even insolence in the game, he would not have paid attention to Paulo, because in this junior team everyone was quite good, and the junior coach recommended other players.
It is known that not everyone has such a great talent as Paulo Dybala, but if you want scouts to pay attention to you, first of all, be brave and do not be afraid to make difficult decisions and make risky moves!
If something goes wrong, practice this element every day persistently and try again until you succeed!
