Even though football is currently at an incredibly high level, and any successful footballer has to be one hundred percent prepared. Nevertheless, there is no perfect footballer who does everything perfectly in every aspect.
So what can you do to succeed despite your weak points?
The key thing you have to do in the beginning is to discover what is your greatest asset and what is your weakest point.
It is worth doing it based on the opinion of coaches and other experienced specialists, as well as it is worth considering which your skill or other aspect on the pitch brings your team more tangible benefits, such as goals, assists, or perfect defense matches without losing a goal.
Discover what is your greatest strength and weakness.
Is it speed, strength, dribbling, passing, finishing the action, implementing the coach's tactics, perfect cross, winning duels or maybe something else.
Then, if you determine exactly what are both your greatest weaknesses and greatest strengths, focus on working on it every day.
This is a very simple and at the same time extremely valuable tip because I guarantee that if you improve these two aspects, your effectiveness on the pitch will immediately increase!
A perfect example of the effectiveness of this method is the Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku.
Romelu has always been considered a great talent, but when he joined Manchester United his effectiveness vanished and the coach believed that what was once his greatest asset - physical strength, speed and fitness and finishing - was suddenly gone and he was standing getting heavy has lost speed and is therefore not giving the team enough value.
When the majority thought that Lukaku would never return to his former level, Inter coach Antonio Conte decided to give him a chance.
He decided that he would focus on reusing his greatest strengths, i.e. height, strength and speed, and try to improve weak points as much as possible, i.e. dynamics, maneuverability, etc.
This plan definitely worked because Lukaku is currently one of the best strikers in Italy and what not long ago was a problem, i.e. the lack of maneuverability and mobility as well as physical conditions have become an advantage because hardly any defender in Serie A can win a duel with him.
You too can go this path by identifying your strengths and weaknesses and then working hard at them to be successful!
