Playing well is not enough.
Create VALUE.
If you are a striker — score, assist, create space.
If you are a winger — beat defenders, create chances, produce goals and assists.
If you are a midfielder — control games, progress the ball, create chances, win possession.
If you are a defender — win duels, prevent chances, organise, start attacks.
If you are a goalkeeper — save points, command your area, help build attacks.
Ask:
WHAT DOES MY TEAM GET BECAUSE I AM ON THE PITCH?

BECOME RELIABLE
One brilliant match followed by four poor matches will not make you stand out.
Try to become the player your coach can trust every week.
Good performance.
Then another.
Then another.
Consistency increases your value.

IMPROVE YOUR BIGGEST WEAKNESS
Sometimes one weakness hides three strengths.
A fast winger who cannot deliver the final ball.
A technical midfielder who loses every physical duel.
A strong defender who makes bad decisions with the ball.
A striker with great movement who cannot finish.
Identify the weakness that limits you most.
Attack it.

Look at other players in your position in your league.
What can you do better?
More successful 1v1s?
More chances created?
Better defensive duels?

You don't need to be better at EVERYTHING.
