Jakub Błaszczykowski is an example that dreams do come true despite adversity.

He had to deal with adversity from the very beginning of his life, when he was 12 years old, his father, who was an alcoholic, killed his mother, and Kuba had to see it all!

Kuba was aware that he had no choice and would either become a footballer or slope on the wrong path.

His beginnings in football were not easy, because he began his career in the fourth league in a team called Raków Częstochowa.

Despite playing at an amateur level, Kuba always had high goals and said openly that I want to win the Champions League and play in the Polish national team.

He worked very hard and persistently.
He often stayed after training to perfect the technique he lacked.

He also had an unusual mindset.
He believed that all the difficulties that met him in life were to prepare him for the successes he would achieve.

And so it was because at the age of 20 he was noticed by talents hunters of Wisla Krakow and then he came to Borussia Dortmund with whom he was very successful because he reached the final of the Champions League and was twice the German champion.

In the Polish national team he played over one hundred matches.

This footballer shows that the right mindset, big dreams and self-confidence combined with hard work can lead you to the top, no matter what difficulties you have to overcome along the way!
