Some time ago we wrote about Edouard Mendy when he was about to go to Chelsea.
Edouard, at 24, was kicked out of the 4th league club because the coaches felt he did not have the talent and skills to play even at this semi-professional level.
The Senegalese, despite the fact that his agent deceived him then and could not count on anyone's help, decided against the opinions of other people not to give up his dreams of a career and hard work. He planned to train individually every day and tried to find a club for himself without the help of an agent because he had no money for it.
After more than a year of hard training combined with other work, he managed to join the reserve team Olympique de Marseille, where he could train, but did not receive any remuneration for it.
After five years of hard work, today the goalkeeper plays for Chelsea and last Saturday was the best player in the game against Manchester United.
Do you think anyone other than Mendy believed that his constant work would bring such wonderful results?
