Many of you probably know players who, up to a certain point, gave the impression of a great talent which nothing will stop, but then everything changed and the player stopped developing.
Krzysztof Piątek is a good example from the European level.
The Polish striker, who after his transfer to Genoa, scored many goals in the first season, earned a transfer to AC Milan and everyone thought it was only a matter of time before he changed the club for an even better one.
Nothing could be more wrong because Piatek stopped in development at some point, it ceased to be effective and today it is only a reserve in Hertha Berlin.
You may also have similar problems at the beginning of your career, and instead of entering the professional level, you may end up abandoning your dreams and stop being footballer.
We have some advice for you on how to avoid this.
1) SET A SPECIFIC GOAL WHERE YOU ARE GOING.
It is very important that you set a specific career goal so that you know how much you are still missing and how much work you need to do to achieve your goal.
Moreover, knowing where you are and where you are going as an ambitious footballer will never stop you from reaching your goal.
2) DEMAND MORE FROM YOURSELF
Self-enthusiasm and over-celebration of small successes are one of the main reasons why many careers failed before they even got started in earnest.
Regardless of how well you are doing now and how much praise you hear, you must continue to work with the same commitment as at the very beginning.
Remember that praise and progress are reasons to work even harder and not celebrate.
3) LEARN NEW THINGS
When your career is going well enough that in the environment you are in, your skills seem to be completely sufficient, the first thing you should do is to follow the best in the world and try to learn new moves or new behaviors on the pitch.
Be aware that the world of football is huge and in a larger environment there are likely to be many better than you.
So keep going, just learn new things to keep growing.
4) CONSISTENTLY ELIMINATE WEAKNESSES
Very often our weak points are a factor that prevents us from exceeding a certain level and causes a stoppage in development.
Many times it is so that some element of football skills is neglected by us so much that we do not even try to improve it because we have the impression that we will never learn it.
However, when we start and despite the initial great difficulties we are consistently working hard on it, it turns out that it is not so bad and your general level of skills suddenly increases.
Think if there is such a thing in your case.
If so, start working on it.
Be consistent and don't give up..
5) REMOVE FROM YOUR MIND WORD: "IMPOSSIBLE"
At the beginning of your career, even when your skills are very high and you are making tremendous progress, but you are very far from professional football and no one in your football environment has ever been successful, you start to think that it is impossible that you have no chance because you are from a small club that nobody supports you that you lack money etc.
There are many examples that despite the difficult beginnings in football, everything is possible.
The most important thing is that you keep developing and have high skills.
The rest is irrelevant!
Therefore, delete the word impossible from your mind!
Focus primarily on development and training, and on taking advantage of all the opportunities that happen to you.
Think if you have done everything you need to develop?
Club training?
Individual training?

If so, be calm about the effects!
