Viktor Stefanoski Macedonian agent and new FTT partner talks about the agent's work in the Balkans

We have very valuable tips for you from Wiktor who searches for talented players around the world and then helps them develop their careers.
Quite recently he established cooperation with FootballTalentsTube.com and we hope that soon many players will achieve the goal and make their dreams come true thanks to this cooperation.

Hello Viktor, could you start by telling FootballTalentsTube.com something about yourself? What is your football experience like? How long have you been an agent? In which markets and what players do you work with?

Hello, Im Viktor, agent - intermediary from Macedonia Im working as agent almost 4 years, first i was working as scout for agency from Belgium and now i work on my own. I have relation in most coutries in Europe and couple contact in rest of the world like America , Asia and Africa.

If you could tell us what your work looks like? Most novice players think that the agent is a bit of a miracle worker who can put a player in the club regardless of their skills. Answer about how restrictive team requirements are.

Yes, the new and young players mostly want the agents to find them clubs without too much effort. But the reallity is that clubs are very carefull and have high expectation for the level of the new players because and the end of the day, clubs must be profitable and that is key in today world of football.

We have already talked with many agents we work with, everyone thinks that the players' mentality, diligence, technique and tactical wisdom are crucial. Would you add something to this?

Like you said, the players should have the " whole package ". Talent alone is not enough. They must have skills and technique but strong mentallity and caracter must be there also.

You live and work in the Balkans. There are many talented and good players in this region of the world. What do you think players have in this region and what affects them so well trained and that there are so many of them?

I live in Balkans, true. As you said they are many talented players from here. I think, first is the genes. Just like they are many talents in Brasil or Argentina, same thing happens here. That's the genes and that's just the way it is. Second, i think Yugoslavia helped a lot too. Yugoslavia as country was really well organised with good laws and high standards. People who had talent at any sport were supported by the country, football workers had excellent knowledge about trainings and players had confident and winning mentality because of that. I think part of that is still present in Balkans and that contributes even now the clubs to produce big number of high level footballers.

There are quite a few African players on our portal, do you work with players from this continent? What are players missing from this region? What do you think they are good at and what their asset can be?

I think some countries in Africa also have great talents as it has shown in the past. It is fact that they are missing proper infrastructure and well educated coaches. That is why when players with big caracter and good mentality come to Europe when they join in well organised who have the missing parts, players raise really high. The biggest asset is the physics, as they live in kind of extreme conditions, both living in really hot weather and in poor countries and that makes them able to endure lot.

Finally, what advice would you give to all players who have great dreams and would like to make them come true despite the long and obstacle road?

I would say that they must follow their dreams and to not give up and work hard. Talent alone is not enought. They must put in the hard work and aim to be the best they can be.
