TO HAVE A CHANCE FOR REGULAR PROGRESS, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND COMPARE YOUR SKILLS WITH OTHERS!

Many young footballers write to us asking for advice on what to do when their progress suddenly stopped.

For players who regularly stand out in their environment, club and country, in order not to stop in development, the ideal solution is to change the club or league for a better one or the opportunity to regularly play with teams from other countries.

It is obvious that not everyone can immediately change the club for the better or leave the country.

Therefore, the ideal solution is to regularly participate in test matches organized by better teams.

Participation in such matches is a great chance to change the club, but even if you fail to get a contract, I give you many benefits.

First, you have the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone by training and playing with more experienced players at a higher level.

You can then compare yourself with them and draw conclusions what you lack against them and what skills you need to develop - you have a broader perspective!

Moreover, by recording such matches you can add video on the portal and prove to talent hunters that you are not worse than players from higher leagues.

Such matches will allow you to build greater self-esteem and self-confidence, which is a key element without which it will be difficult for you to cope at the highest level.

A good example that leaving the comfort zone allows you to develop amazingly is the Spanish footballer Iago Aspas from Celty Vigo.

Aspas, the legendary Celta player, despite the fact that in the highest Spanish league  he could compete with great clubs such as Real or FC Barcelona every week, he could only find out about his shortcomings when he left Celta and joined Liverpool.

In one of the interviews he said that playing for Celta almost throughout his career, he had the impression that he was one of the best in the world, only when he was in Liverpool he could see how much he is missing.

He said that in England he had to fight 100% in every training to have a chance to play in a match even for a few minutes.

Although he did not make a great career in Liverpool, his stay at the club showed him how important it is to be physically prepared and how important it is to fight on the pitch.

In addition, he learned that the intensity of the game in England is much greater and it is difficult for him to deal with it and endure 90 minutes.

Finally, he added that if you are a young footballer and you want to develop yourself, he recommends changing your environment as much as possible and going beyond your comfort zone, because in his opinion nothing can develop you more as a footballer!

Therefore, remember that if something does not go your way, instead of giving up, you have to look for new solutions!

If you have not tried so far, start also recording your training and matches and then put them on our portal for free.

In addition, you will be regularly watched by scouts from around the world, you will also be able to spot your mistakes and then correct them and see your progress over time!

Act so that each day brings you even one step closer to achieving your goal!
