Romelu Lukaku, currently the star of Inter and the Belgian national team is another example of the fact that terrible beginnings are not an obstacle to achieve success and make dreams come true.
Lukaku when he was a child could not count on a balanced diet and training equipment at the highest level.
He trained and played in shoes two sizes too small.
And his daily meal always looked the same, it was a piece of bread and a glass of milk, to which his mother had to add water to make enough milk for the whole family.
Lukaku said in one of the interviews that there was a time when he had to live for weeks at home without electricity and hot water because there was not enough money to pay the bills.
Now, after many years when he is already a world-class footballer, he says that these events had a huge impact on him and built his enormous motivation to work harder every day.
He tells how one night he saw his mother crying and prays for their fate to change, he promised her that soon he would take care of the family.
He knew then that he had to work even harder in training to sign a professional contract as soon as possible.
He achieved his goal at the age of sixteen.
He signed a contract with Anderlecht
This story shows that everything depends on you how you deal with the challenges you have in life.
Be like Lukaku, never give up!
