If you think that your path to football success is impossible because your family is poor, listen to Antony's story.
Antony has not been doing well as a Manchester United player so far, but the path he had to take to reach professional football is extremely difficult.
Antony and his family were so poor that until he was 18, when he made his debut in the Sao Paulo team, he lived in a makeshift hut in the favela and did not have his own bed because he had to sleep with his father.
He found the shoes he played in in a garbage dump near the club because professional footballers threw them away there.
As for food, his diet consisted only of what his father managed to catch and the bread they could barely earn!
Despite these difficulties, the young Brazilian treated football as something that gave him great joy, which made every training session great fun.
Thanks to the fact that he did not complain and was simply happy with what he had, he managed to get to the point where he is a millionaire today.
