Many of you are wondering if there is someone like you in the world of professional football at all.
Is there anyone who hasn't had the support of his parents in making his football dreams come true since he was a child, but he did?
Is there anyone who, on a daily basis, did not have money for basic needs such as food, clothes, cleaning products, and yet he managed.
Is there anybody who did not have money to travel and yet, working hard on his own, went on a journey and, despite the difficulties, achieved success?
Is there anyone who has been successful only playing in amateur teams and training individually?
It just so happens that the boy I am about to tell you about had all the problems mentioned above and today he is playing in Serie B and in the future he will probably play in Serie A!
Mamadou Coulibaly was born in the small town of Thies in Senegal.
From an early age, there was not enough money in his house for everything.
His parents could not afford to finance Mamadou's career, and yet the boy trained in amateur clubs and constantly trained himself every day to get better.
One day he thought that he would earn money to go to Europe for tests.
He's working hard and when he had money for a ticket to Morocco, he decided to go because he thought he would ask who from the ships in the port to be able to sail illegally to Spain.
Mamadou went on a journey without telling his parents because he knew they would not agree.
He just ran away from home.
He got to Morocco, then lived in a port and asked people to let him go on their ship to Spain.
After many days, there was someone there to help.
When he got to Spain, he decided to go to France and then to Italy.
In Italy, in Pescara, he took part in a match for immigrants where agents were looking for talent.
One of the agents noticed him and decided to help him, gave him a house, food and football boots and got him tests in Pescara!
It turned out that Pescara had given him a contract providing him with basic salary, food and accommodation.
Coulibaly won a spot in the core team very quickly.
He played very well.
Currently he plays at the Ternana Club where he is on loan from Salernitana.
The story ended fantastically as Coulibaly became a professional footballer.
But what can this story teach you?
Were it not for his big dreams, determination and grasping all chances, even risking his life sometimes, today Coulibaly would probably still be living in Senegal, receiving benefits and having no prospects for anything better.
He would probably complain that no one helped him make his career.
And in your case, what does it look like?
What are you doing recently to give your career a chance to develop?
how many times a week do you train?
Where were you on the tests?
How many videos have you recorded to show your internet skills on our portal?
Answer these questions honestly in the comment.
