Probably not all of you know a footballer called Arkadiusz Reca.
He is the left-back of the Polish national team and Italian club Crotone team.
Some of you are probably wondering why we are writing here about a player who is not outstanding in the world of football, but at best average.
This player started his career in the Polish 7th league in the Kolejarz Chojnice club and even in this little-known team he was considered an average player.
Reca, however, paid no heed to the opinions that he would never be able to reach the professional level.
He was aware of his strongest points, i.e. speed and incredible condition.
In addition, he has always tried to make his crosses as close to perfection as possible as a side defender.
First, at the age of 17, he joined Chojniczanka, the third league club, but there for several years the coaches did not notice his talent and he was loan even to the 5th level of the game in Poland.
When the 19-year-old plays in such low leagues, it is difficult to imagine that he could still play for the national team with Robert Lewandowski and in the Italian Serie A in the future.
However, it turns out that if you train hard, you have a goal in your head that you are aiming for, there are no unrealistic things!
In 2014, Reca joined the Flota Świnoujście club at the 2nd level of the game in Poland.
This club then had big financial problems and gave a chance to less known players.
Arkadiusz Reca did not waste this chance because he played so well that after one season he went to Wisła Płock and there, to everyone's surprise, he did very well.
After 3 years of playing in Płock, he was bought by Atalanta Bergamo for about 5 million euros.
Now he's on loan to Crotone.
It may not be the most spectacular career you know, but it shows that if you believe in yourself, work hard, and don't worry about other people's negative opinions, you can get very high level!
In addition, this story shows that you have to work hard every day because you may find that there is only one chance in your life, and if you are not ready in absolutely perfect shape, the next one will not be and you will be an amateur forever!
