The new year that is approaching will be a reason for many of you to change something or give more of yourself in the context of both everyday life and career!
However, think about how many times you promised yourself that you would change something and nothing happened.
No matter what stage of your career you are at, if you want to really change something and not just talk, the first thing you need to do today, not just in the new year, is to have a long-term plan for half a year, a year or 5 years, but you also need to have short-term plans.
For a month, a week and the next day!
Having a plan and acting according to it will make it easier for you to achieve it because the key is to do work every day that will bring you closer to your goal.
Today we will present you a simple and example-based action plan that will help you set goals step by step and tell you how to act to achieve them to the end!
FIRST STEP
Regardless of what club you are currently playing in, what skill level you present, you must set yourself an end goal at the beginning.
The end goal is the level you will be aiming for and focus on from the very beginning.
An example of an end goal is playing for Real Madrid, for example!
When setting the end goal, do not limit yourself and do not worry that at the moment it seems to be unrealistic.
GOAL FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS
If you have already set an end goal, the next step should be to set a goal for the next 5 years.
Based on the end goal, think about where you would need to go and what to do, what skill level to achieve in 5 years so that the end goal is still realistic.
Example
If your goal is to play for Real Madrid, considering the football market, in order to have a chance within five years, you should reach the skill level that will allow you to play in one of the top 5 leagues in the world, i.e.
France, England, Spain, Italy, Germany and to be one of the best players there in his position.
GOAL FOR THE YEAR
Based on the five-year goal, think about and analyze what you should do in the next year to make your five-year goal more and more realistic.
For a chance to reach the top 5 leagues in the world in five years, analyze what skill progress you need to make in a year, which club to join and what value you need to give to your team to attract the interest of TOP5 clubs in the future.
GOAL FOR THE MONTH
Based on the goals above, plan month by month from today what you need to do to reach your annual goal.
If possible, consult with experts and find out how much you are missing and what you need to do each month to achieve the annual goal.
GOALS FOR THE NEXT WEEK AND FOR TODAY!
In order for your planning to make sense, you need to act and for this you need goals for the next week and for today.
If you have written down your end goal, 5 year goal, year goal and monthly goal, you should carefully analyze it, then confront it with your current career and take the first step without waiting for anything.
If you are now 20 years old, playing in a league outside Europe, or in Europe at an amateur level, analyze what skills you lack to start standing out in the league, then start training hard and smart every day to have a chance to meet your monthly goal.
Day by day, training by training, step by step!
If you have applied the advice in practice, write in the comment section what is your end goal, 5 year goal, year goal, month goal, week goal, and goal for today.
Remember to write down your goals and not create them only in your mind.
