HOW ONE PLAYER’S STORY PROVES YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP

Many players believe that success in football should come quickly.

You go to a trial.
You sign a contract.
You start playing.
And everything moves forward.

But real football careers rarely look like that.

Very often the road is longer and more difficult.

The story of Colombian forward Mateo Ortiz is a perfect example of this.

Mateo, born in 2003 and a youth international of Colombia, arrived in Poland one year ago looking for an opportunity to show his level in Europe.

Like many ambitious players, he needed the right chance.

Through FootballTalentsTube, we helped him organize trials in Poland and connect with clubs willing to give him an opportunity.

His first step was Flota Świnoujście.

But football is not always fair at the beginning.

Mateo did not receive many chances to show his full potential there and spent only a short period at the club.

For many players this is the moment when doubts appear.

But this is also the moment that separates those who stop from those who continue.

Instead of giving up, Mateo kept working and moved to Czarni Połaniec.

That decision changed everything.

In just 14 matches he scored 15 goals.

Suddenly the same player who had struggled to get minutes became one of the most dangerous forwards in the league.

His performances quickly attracted attention.

After only half a season, Mateo took the next step in his career and signed with the 2nd league club Resovia Rzeszów.

This story shows something every ambitious footballer should understand.

One difficult club does not define your career.

One coach’s decision does not decide your future.

Sometimes you only need the right environment and the right moment to show your real level.

At FootballTalentsTube, we try to help players find those opportunities.

For years we have been connecting talented but less-known players with clubs, trials and real chances to prove themselves.

But one thing must be clear.

We can open doors — but the player must walk through them.

Mateo did that.

He kept working, stayed patient and proved his value on the pitch.

And his story should be a reminder for every ambitious player:

Do not give up too early.

Because sometimes one strong season — or even one strong half-season — can completely change your career.
