HOW LONG SHOULD I TRAIN ANY ASPECT OF FOOTBALL SKILLS?

There is a difference between trying to master a skill and mastering it to perfection.

You probably know this feeling when you learned something and after some time you found this skill so easy for you now that you could do it automatically with your eyes closed at any time of the day or night.

This is because after the right time, when a given skill is trained long enough, the subconscious mind begins to take responsibility for its performance in the right way, so we start to perform this skill as if automatically not focusing too much on it.

And you, as footballers, footballers who want a future
 achieve successes
on a professional level, you have to approach the development of new skills in such a way as to bring them to the point where you will do them automatically without thinking twice.

Translating this into a specific example, when you start to improve the element of ball control, passing, shot or dribble, train until you start doing it subconsciously, i.e. completely automatically, regardless of whether you perform a given element in training or a championship match.

Some of you will tell me that he lacks enough talent to fine-tune something so much.

My answer is that it is not a matter of talent but persistence and diligence.
When someone has more talent, it means that they can master something a little faster with less work, and not that they will do something better.

Cristiano Ronaldo is once again a good example of a perfect attitude in this matter.

Early in his career at Manchester United, Cristiano he knew he wanted to be the best, so when he saw that one of the players had skills that he did not have, he immediately took the ball after training and went to the pitch to learn it and prove to everyone that it can be done even better, more accurately and efficiently.
