A little boy from a poor family in Costa Rica, I train soccer every day and tell everyone that he will play for Real Madrid someday!
Of course, no one believes him and everyone laughs at him because Real Madrid and football at a professional level seem impossible to them!
The boy, however, trains every day and does not lose faith.
At the age of a dozen he starts training in the Deportivo Saprissa club in Costa Rica, having no easy beginnings because everyone says that he is too short for a goalkeeper, but he is distinguished by his ability so they say that he can play but let him not count on a professional career because his short height will not allow him to do so. .
He decides to train even harder to make up for the shortcomings in his height by jumping and flexing.
The boy works so hard that at the age of 19 he manages to make his debut for the Saprissa team.
He plays very well in the Costa Rican league, but the clubs from the European leagues do not want to bring him to their team because they think that 183 cm tall is not enough.
In the end, quite late, because at the age of 24, he goes to the average team from the 2nd league in Spain, where he plays 36 matches, but his team drops to the 3rd league.
The goalkeeper, however, goes to Levante UD playing in the Primera Division in which he has to fight for the role of goalkeeper No. 2 or 3.
But he trained so hard that when he got his chance he played amazing, and after two years when the other goalkeepers were failing, the coach took the risk by giving him a chance as the first goalkeeper!
In Levante they slowly understood that their goalkeeper, despite his short stature, is amazing, moreover, the good game in the club coincided with an amazing game for the Costa Rica national team at the World Cup.
After the 2014 World Cup, the impossible dream of a Costa Rican kid came true because he received an offer from Real Madrid!
