It turned out to be an ideal decision because he scored 15 goals there and won the transfer to Treviso in Serie B in which he confirmed high class and also scored 15 goals.
It was a breakthrough moment because each next stop in his career was a better team in which he scored more goals.
These were Vicenza, Brescia, Palermo, Fiorentina, where he scored 9, 20 and 31 goals for Fiorentina, winning the title of the best scorer in Europe.
As a Fiorentina player, he went to the World Cup and greatly contributed to the Italians winning the gold medal!
Then he was successful in Bayern, Juventus, and at the end of his career at the age of 37 he became the oldest king of scorers in Serie A playing Hellas Verona.
Throughout his career, Toni played 706 matches, scoring 324 goals and scoring 62 assists.
This is definitely an amazing result.
Given that when he was 20 years old and played in the fourth league, he was simply a loser and an amateur for many.
