From homelessness to defense of Ronaldo's penalty kick. #MOTIVATIONMONDAY21

If you think you have no chance to succeed in football, learn the story of the Iranian goalkeeper.

Alireza Bejranwand, because we are talking about him had a very difficult childhood.

A boy born in Sarabias, a small village in Iran
he had big dreams about becoming the best goalkeeper of his country in the future.

At the time, however, this did not seem possible, because even his father forbade him to play football, because he believed that sport would not give him a good life.
His father wanted Alireza to do sheep farming.

The young goalkeeper, however, did not give up, and in his spare time he trained hard and constantly imagined himself as the best goalkeeper in Iran.

He came to the conclusion that if I want to play football on a professional level, he must go to the capital of the country.

Initially, he was homeless in the capital of the country.

To eat something, he asked people for money.

When he managed to find a job and a club where he could play and train, everything started to go in the right direction.

However, there was a moment when he had to work as a street sweeper and was so tired after work that he lacked strength during training.

He was close to being thrown out of the club for this reason.

He didn't give up, however.
He worked even more until he finally became the first goalkeeper in the leading team in Iran Naft Tehran.

In 2015, at the age of 23, he was appointed to the first national team.

In 2018, he went with the Iranian national team to the World Cup already as the number one goalkeeper.

At the World Cup, Iran played in a very difficult group with Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

After the first two matches and winning 1: 0 against Morocco and losing 0: 1 against Spain, Alireza was already a hero in his country.

In the last match against Portugal, Iran was close to sensation but ended in a 1: 1 draw.

Bejranwand was once again a hero because he defended the penalty shootout by Cristiano Ronaldo himself!

So remember, no matter where you are now, you have to believe and work hard and success will come.
