A great example of how you should never give up is former Brazilian team defender Dante Bonfim Costa.
At the age of 18, Dante went to club tests, he was tested in about 10 clubs and he heard the same thing every time.
The coaches said unequivocally that he is not suitable for being a professional footballer and should look for a job.
There was a moment when even his parents doubted that their son could become a professional footballer and told him to look for a job or move out of the family home.
Dante had to take care of himself for six months, he trained alone and played in the streets wherever possible.
Then he sold things that belonged to him, several pieces of furniture from his room and a games console, and he went to another state in Brazil to look for a club.
Dedication, self-confidence and hard work brought results because he found employment at Juventude Caxias do Sul.
Dante won a place in the squad and played so well that in 2004 his talent was noticed by OSC Lille scouts.
Then through Belgian clubs and Borussia Monchengladbach he came to Bayern Munich, with whom he won many trophies, including the Champions League. He also reached Brazil's dream football team.
The example of this outstanding football player shows that steadfastness combined with great dreams and hard systematic work brings effects so great that some even find it difficult to dream of such effects!
