I am Adetunji olufemmy I am a Trainer/scout, I have been doing local scouting for 10 years now..Marylad football Academy Is the name of my Academy and I work with VMS project group as A head of Talent Idenfication in African Continent..
Tell me how you look for talent in Africa from your perspective?
I have network of scouts and Coaches Across Nigeria and the rest Of African Continent, because my Academy is Pan Africa Academy we are open to all Quality players
Tell us what do you consider your greatest success as a trainer and scout? Which player was your biggest discovery and what caught your attention the most in this player?
My greatest Achievement as a Scout is the player I discover during a Scouting tournament and the player later join a Second division club in Egypt, 18 month later he got transfer to a pro league club In Dubai..
What clubs or academies in Africa are the best and worth cooperating with?
Yes..we have alot of Good Academics and Clubs to cooperate with Both In Nigeria,Ghana,Togo,Senegal,Gambia,ivory coast..

What do you usually pay attention to when observing players, what aspects distinguish those who are worth investing from those who lose time?
About the player..the player humility and dedication to training standout for me..and the boy only Used Left foot and he is very very dangerous on the ball.
Height.. Is key attributes I check on a player before I further seen the player Qualities with the ball..I believe a very good Footballers must be Athleticism.
What advice would you give players? What should you do and which path should you follow to have a chance to make a career despite the difficulties in Africa?
My Advice to young African players is to work very harder daily basis and make sure they don't jump from clubs to clubs in Looking for opportunities.. A Good players will surely be scouted with right Football peoples..train well and dedicate your self to God
Our portal has been operating for less than a year, but we already cooperate with many agencies, companies and scout teams in European leagues.
Do you think your club currently has talented players in Europe?
Yes..I believe players from My Academy can stand there own in any league in the world..probably from youth set up..to graduate to the first team..if given the right Developmental programs.
Can you briefly describe the recruitment process at your academy?
Yes..our recruitments processes is very highly intensity.. You submitted your CV as a player and our scouting department will response with Invitation letter to attend a trial with our Academy boys.. We have time for trials.
Also in Africa, despite the difficulties you can train and develop, although it usually looks different than in Europe, Asia or America.
Still, you shouldn't give up and give up your dreams.
