Today FTT interviewed very experienced agents in the industry, all so that portal users could receive further tips on what they should focus on to meet the expectations of the transfer market and that their careers should develop properly with our help.
If you have any questions, write them in the comment and we will try to find answers for you.
Hello, could you please introduce yourself to our community and provide your agency name and answer the question in which markets do you mainly operate?
Hello, I am Emil Miljus from Diamond Sport Management and we are cooperating very closely with Elite Project Group. Regarding markets wher we operate, that would be Europe meinly and Asia and USA with partners, but focus is Europe.
As a portal, we are looking for talented players, verifying their skills based on video in various forms, from recordings of matches, daily trainings to challenges and tests in football, when the portal is interested in a player, we watch him live and then put the best and most diligent in teams or managerial agencies cooperating with the portal. Does your agency use video in addition to live viewing to select players to collaborate with? To what extent can the video reflect the player's real skills and talent?
Forme best way is live viewing ,especially for young players.
Of course we are looking videos but also prefer full matches, regarding highlights that is good forthe first step that you have some first opinion about the player which you don't know and you didn't scout him.
Players for what positions are most sought after by clubs and what attributes and skills are most sought after?
This question aims to direct players what they should work on to have a better chance and be more valuable to teams.
Position which clubs are searching would be central backs, defensive mifielder ,wingers ,strikers ,Central defender, left-footed player is maybe the most wanted position with limited poolof playes.
Regarding skills and attributes again depends of very club ,some clubs are searching let say strong fast strikers, other clubs are searching for typical number 9.
What would you advise players who have a harder start because they don't start in big clubs? How do you think they can increase their chances?
Where some player starts is not the fomula of success, football is unpredictable sport and bussines, the mst important is to have plan and to do it step by step, some players often are going to big clubs and neverget real chance and disappearthat is happening in situations when that step is too big forcertain players, especially if mentally they are not ready . Even if you start in smaller clubs that some times could provide more benefit, because you are going step by step and you value your work and progress while sometimes you start in big clubs and you don't make progress as everyone expects because you don't have so many chances to play full time.
Which leagues or teams in Europe, Asia, given your experience, most often give a chance to less-known players?
Most clubs from leagues such as
Czech , Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia also Scandinavian clubs are open to take some unknown players for the first step.
How do you think the current situation with COVID19 will affect the transfer market?
Regarding Covid 19 situation which has never been happen before forsure there willbe changes.
Free players will be very intersting especially for middle or smaller clubs. Expect a more commitment to creating players fromclub academies and a lot more savings than spending because no one can say for sure how it will be in the future, so Idefinitely expect me caution at least fora one yearand maybe even more.
At the end some changes could be positive forfootball in global.
