Advice from Fabio Paim on what to do in order not to waste your talent. / A unique training set

Fabio Paim is now a 32-year-old Portuguese player who between the ages of 12-19 was considered the greatest talent in the world, and Cristiano Ronaldo said he is more talented than himself!

He earned millions of euros, was famous all over the world, he played for Sporting Lisbon, Chelsea.

It turned out, however, that talent alone will not do you any good if you don't work hard.

Today Fabio at the age of 32 is absolutely bankrupt and is trying to return to football after a 5-year hiatus.
He recently signed a semi-professional contract with a club in the fifth Polish league.

In an interview for the Polish website Weszło.com, he gave some advice that will help young footballers not to make mistakes like him!

1) If you have talent, you haven't won anything yet!

Fabio talked about how at the age of 14, when everyone admired his talent and he was already earning a lot of money, he thought that he didn't have to train hard anymore, because he can do everything, and success will come by itself.

This is not true because if you don't develop you start to regress!

2) If you want to avoid Fabio's mistakes, you must be humble!

If you start to hear compliments and praise from all sides, it is a sign that you have to work harder and not let go!

Start to think then what else you need to improve and what you can do to focus even more on development.

Fabio says it was the time when he was done the worst when everyone was praising how good he was, and no one dared tell him what else he needed to work on and to focus on development.

Fabio, under the influence of all these praises, spent more time in the disco than in training.

3) Put training, development and professionalism in the first place!

When asked Fabio what he would advise young players who are currently starting their careers, he replied:

Due to the mistakes I made, I would advise first of all to put hard work and a professional approach in the first place.

If you want to be professional footballers, I recommend that you focus on training and your own development!
Everything else will come in the future!
