YOUR BODY LANGUAGE
Before you even touch the ball, coaches are watching.
Do you look confident?
Do you communicate?
Do you look ready?
Or do you appear nervous, passive and afraid to make mistakes?
Professional football is full of pressure.
Coaches want players who look prepared to handle it.
Your body language often speaks before your football does.
YOUR INTENSITY
Many players start trials too slowly.
They spend the first 20 minutes "warming into the game."
That is a mistake.
Coaches immediately notice:

willingness to compete.
You don't need to run everywhere.
But you must show energy and commitment from the first whistle.

Do they naturally follow your lead?
Football is about helping the team function better.
The players who positively influence those around them are often remembered.
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE
Many players attend trials believing they need to score a goal, produce a highlight or dribble past five opponents.
Sometimes that happens.
Most of the time it doesn't.
What coaches usually want to see is much simpler:
