The season has started.
You wanted a transfer.
You wanted a better club.
But no offer came.
Don't waste the next months complaining.
Find out WHY.
Ask yourself these seven questions honestly.
-
AM I REALLY TOO GOOD FOR MY CURRENT LEVEL?
Forget what your friends tell you.
Are you consistently one of the best players in your league?
Do you influence matches?
If you cannot dominate your current level, moving higher may not be your biggest priority yet.
-
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I PLAYED AGAINST BETTER PLAYERS?
Think about trials, cup matches or games against stronger opponents.
Did you still look good?
Were your decisions fast enough?
Could you handle the physical intensity?
Higher levels expose weaknesses quickly.
-
WHAT ARE MY THREE BIGGEST WEAKNESSES?
Ask your coach.
Watch your full matches.
Be specific.
Don't write "I need to improve technically."
Write:
Weak foot.
First touch under pressure.
Acceleration.
Defending 1v1.
Then you know what to train.
-
DO I HAVE PROOF OF MY LEVEL?
Saying "I'm a good player" means nothing to a club.
You need evidence.
Full matches.
Good highlights.
Current statistics.
Football CV.
Make it easy for someone to evaluate you.
-
WAS I CONTACTING REALISTIC CLUBS?
If you play amateur football, sending messages only to top professional clubs is not a strategy.
Find the next realistic step.
Sometimes moving ONE level higher is exactly what your career needs.
-
WHY DID CLUBS SAY NO?
If you had trials or conversations, ask for feedback.
Technique?
Physical level?
Tactical understanding?
Position already covered?
Experience?
Don't treat rejection only as disappointment.
Use it as information.
-
WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT IN THE NEXT TRANSFER WINDOW?
This is the most important question.
If nothing changes, why should the result change?
Choose two weaknesses.
Work on them.
Play regularly.
Record matches.
Improve your numbers.
Build better material.
Give clubs a BETTER PLAYER next time.
FINAL MESSAGE
No offer doesn't automatically mean you aren't good enough.
But it does mean something needs to change.
Maybe your level.
Maybe your physical preparation.
Maybe your exposure.
Maybe your strategy.
Find the real problem.
Then use this season to solve it.
When the next opportunity arrives, don't present clubs with the same player they rejected before.
GIVE THEM A REASON TO CHANGE THEIR ANSWER.
