Many of you write to us that you had great plans and hopes for your career, you had talent, you were able to stand out from other footballers from your region.
However, despite all this, your careers are at a standstill and even seem to be declining.
So what should you do to not give up on your dreams and give yourself another chance?
5 tips for starting a new path?
1) LET THE PAST GO AWAY!
Sometimes what stops us from moving forward is our past.
you played in a good academy, you counted on offers from big clubs that didn't come.
You took the tests but you failed them.
You made other mistakes.
Everyone makes mistakes and experiences failures.
All you have to do with them is draw conclusions and forget about them.
2) FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN INFLUENCE!
There are many things you have no control over in football.
Remember to let it go and focus on what you can change.
You have an influence on how you train, how you eat, who you work with, how you react to failures, whether you give up or keep fighting.
Focus on what you can influence!
3) FIND THE RIGHT SUPPORT!
Sometimes you need to change something and look for support in a different place than before.
Are your training sessions not effective?
Think about changing your coach!
The agent who works with you does not give you what you expect, change it!
Do you have a mental problem?
Try working with a psychologist.
4) BE THANKFUL
Sometimes we focus too much on what we lack instead of what we can be grateful for!
Look how much you currently have and how many opportunities are ahead of you instead of constantly thinking about what you are missing!
5) SET YOUR GOALS, PLAN YOUR PATH AND FOLLOW IT EVERY DAY!
Very often, the key to development is to simply plan a path, write it down and then follow it every day!
Write down your goals and how you want to achieve them.
Trainings, development plan, etc.!
Thanks to this, when the time of doubt and helplessness comes, you will be able to follow the plan instead of doing nothing!
